How Fast Is Junk Car Pickup?

What to Have Ready at Pickup
- You, in person. The owner needs to be there to sign over the vehicle and receive the cash.
- The registration. Required. It shows the car is yours to sell.
- The keys, if you have them. Not required, but highly preferred: they unlock the steering wheel so we can steer the car onto the truck.
- The title, if you have it. Not required. We buy cars with or without a title.
- A valid driver's license or photo ID that matches the ownership paperwork.
- An empty car. Check the glovebox, trunk and under the seats. Remove toll transponders and garage openers too.

After the Sale: Massachusetts RMV Steps
In Massachusetts the plates belong to you, not the car. After we pick it up, cancel the registration with the RMV (you can do it online) and save the cancellation receipt. Cancel the registration before you cancel the insurance; doing it the other way around can get the RMV involved over a lapse in coverage. Once the registration is cancelled, call your insurance company, and ask your city or town about an excise tax abatement for the rest of the year.

Do I need to be there when you pick up the car?
Yes. We pay in cash, so you need to be there in person to get paid. Bring the registration and a photo ID, plus the keys if you have them. Keys aren't required, but they help a lot because they unlock the steering wheel so the car can be steered onto the truck. We check the vehicle, you sign it over, we pay you cash, and then we tow it away.
How fast can you pick up my car?
Usually the same day or the next day, depending on what time you call and where the vehicle is parked. Call early in the day for the best chance at same-day pickup.
